Abstract: A method or system for provisioning an embedded universal integrated circuit card “eUICC” profile to an eUICC enabled SIM. The provisioning comprising, providing an always provisioned international mobile subscriber identity “IMSI” to the SIM, activating abase profile integrated circuit card identifier “ICCID” on the SIM, activating a selected eUICC profile with a network operator, and instructing downloading of the eUICC profile to the SIM by the network operator.
