Abstract: An antenna array assembly comprises a ground plate, an array of radiator elements disposed in a spaced relationship with a first face of the ground plate between first and second substantially parallel conductive walls projecting from the first face of the ground plate, and a first and second conductive plate. Each of the first and second conductive plates is electrically isolated from the ground plate, and each is disposed in an upstanding relationship to the first face of the ground plate in a substantially parallel relationship with the first and second conductive walls. This provides reduced radiation in at least one direction in the hemisphere on the opposite side of the ground plate to the first face.

Abstract: Tools for configuring an enterprise applications. In one aspect, the tools provide a user interface to allow an implementer describe, based on an interview with executives of the organization, an enterprise structure of an organization, and a data structure generator to configure the enterprise application to reflect this enterprise structure. In one aspect, these tools can allow a general case to guide the default assignment of intersections of legal and managerial reporting structures to a business unit, allowing the minimum number of business units to fulfill both the external and managerial responsibilities. The tools may implement a pivot table approach to provide an interface for the user to provide such input.

Abstract: Systems and methods used in human resource management systems. The method optimizes the assignment of permissions (e.g., ability to write to a database, ability to create a new account, etc.) to jobs. The method discovers relationships between jobs, duties and privileges by accessing an organization chart that relates a plurality of jobs, a plurality of specific duties to be performed within the purview of a given job, and a plurality of permissions for the respective duties of the job. The method then flattens the organization chart to enumerate the permissions inherited by the jobs. The method proceeds to mine the inherited permissions across the jobs to optimize the sets of permissions. The sets can be optimized (e.g., minimize number of sets, maximize coverage, etc.) and named so as to be conveniently assigned (e.g., by an HR person) to a job (e.g., in the case of a new employee).

Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention provides a system that logs the use of privileges in a distributed computing environment. The distributed computing environment includes a database system, one or more client applications, and a unified security management layer between the database system and the one or more client applications. During operation, the system receives a request from a client application to execute a business function in the distributed computing environment. The system determines a privilege associated with the requested business function, and logs that the request is associated with the privilege. The system then checks, in the unified security management layer, whether a user associated with the request is associated with a role that has the privilege. If the user is associated with a role that has the privilege, the system performs the requested business function.

Abstract: In example embodiments, space filling elements displayed on a computer screen represent items in one or more levels of a hierarchical menu structure. The area of a space filling element indicates the number of accesses to an application associated with the space filling element. Other attributes of the space filling element may indicate values of characteristics of an associated application.

Abstract: A system for securing a powertrain component to a body structure of a vehicle may include first and second mounts each having a base and a first elastomeric barrier secured to and extending from the base defining an air filled chamber, and a connector coupling the air filled chambers, the connector sized to provide an associated air volume that reduces stiffness of the first elastomeric barrier at an excitation frequency corresponding to a target engine speed. The air filled chambers may be hermetically sealed and pressurized above atmospheric pressure. The system may include a fluid-filled switchable mount having a decoupler air pocket selectively coupled to a vacuum source or atmosphere with an expander integrated with the mount or as a separate component coupled between the decoupler air pocket and the vacuum source. The expander may be implemented as a Helmholtz resonator or may include an in-line expansion chamber.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for wellness program management. Embodiments commence upon identifying a person as a wellness program participant and associating the person with a repository of grocer POS data using a personal identifier that is used to access the grocer POS data that comprises at least some food items purchased in a particular shopping trip. A set of consumer purchase records are retrieved from the POS data, then at least one aspect of a wellness profile pertaining to the wellness program participant is retrieved from wellness program data. The consumer purchase records can be analyzed to determine a nutrition value that is associated with at least one aspect of the wellness program participant's wellness profile. An alert is sent to the wellness program participant when certain events occur or when wellness profile thresholds are met.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for wellness maintenance programs configured for user-specific tracking of food consumption to goals. Upon receiving a digital image of food or beverage items, the digital image is transmitted to a repository configured to serve a plurality of accesses by a plurality of human members (e.g., a crowdsource repository). Members of the crowd generate food description annotations pertaining to aspects of the pictured food or beverage items. The food description annotations (e.g., menu picks, text descriptions) are used to look-up nutrition records. Some use cases correlate a set of food description annotations that are shared between two or more of the human members to generate a confidence score, and some use cases also receive food intake recommendations from the human members. The food intake recommendations can be recorded in a wellness profile which in turn can be used for progress tracking against nutrition goals.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for managing employee wellness incentive programs. Some embodiments commence by accessing databases to retrieve a set of wellness program spending amount datapoints, and then organizing those datapoints into a series of successively increasing wellness program spending amounts. The wellness program spending amounts are historical amounts or prospective amounts. A calculator or predictor generates a respective series of wellness program savings amounts, wherein individual ones of the series of the wellness program savings amounts comprise at least calculated or predicted healthcare cost savings. A net benefit is determined and used as a desired wellness program spending amount. The desired wellness program spending amount is the spending amount at which point an incremental amount of additional wellness program spending results in only an equal or lesser amount of incremental calculated or predicted wellness program savings.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for computer-aided administration of wellness programs. Processing commences upon collecting first observations based on direct or indirect productivity measurements, then collecting second observations pertaining based on direct or indirect employee wellness measurements. Correlations between the first observations and the second observations are made, and based on the correlations, recommendations are formed. Recommendations can be emitted to an employee or to a program manager. The employee productivity measurements comprise working hours per time period, absentee hours per time period, units produced over a time period, revenue per employee, profit per employee, revenue per work hour, and/or profit per work hour.

Abstract: A method of operating a radiographic inspection system is disclosed for a system in which a conveyor chain with identical modular chain segments transports articles under inspection. Two operating modes of the radiographic inspection system includes a calibration mode in which calibration data characterizing the radiographic inspection system with an empty conveyor chain are generated; and an inspection mode in which raw image data of articles under inspection with the background of the conveyor chain are acquired and arithmetically processed with calibration data into a clearer output image, without the interfering background of the conveyor chain.
