  • Publication number: 20220187777
Abstract: A light or sound system includes a plurality of control systems, and is configured so that the plurality of control systems are interconnected in a non-hierarchical mesh network. Further, the mesh wireless radio of a given control system has the capacity to signal nearby control systems, one or more control systems have a switch filter configured to permit hop signal rebroadcasting, and a plurality of light or sound producing devices are functionally connected to a plurality of field-effect transistor drivers of control systems interconnected in the mesh network.

  • Patent number: 11281170
Abstract: A system, particularly adaptable for lighting and music presentations, such as for mood, ambience, or party settings includes a flat, wireless broadcast multi-point, synchronizable and scalable operation. The system includes a control system having an electronic circuit which includes a wireless mesh radio, a microcontroller, a wireless short-range radio link unit, a plurality of field-effect transistor (FET) drivers to connect to one or more individual light or sound producing devices or sets thereof, a low voltage DC power supply, an audio input rectifier and filter, and a rotary switch. The system is set up such that a plurality of these control systems are interconnected in a non-hierarchical mesh network, wherein the mesh wireless radio of a given control system has the capacity to signal other nearby control systems.

  • Patent number: 11267139
Abstract: A method of (and an associated device for) applying or measuring the force applied to a sample tube is disclosed. The method includes the steps of driving a plurality of gripping fingers from an open position to a gripping position against a tube, while measuring the movement of first and second coaxial gears driving the fingers before the fingers grip the tube, stopping the movement of the first coaxial gear when the fingers grip the tube, and allowing and measuring a further limited movement of the second coaxial gear after the fingers grip the tube.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 24, 2019
Date of Patent: March 8, 2022
    Assignee: Scinomix

  • Publication number: 20030215357
Abstract: An automated processing system, particularly for use in biotechnology, which is modular in construction and allows for a wide variety of instruments to be inserted and/or removed without having to reprogram the system and methods of using such a system. This may be called “plug and play” functionality. The system may be portable without disassembly and have a generally vertical arrangement so as to utilize less useful lab space than a horizontally arranged system.
