Abstract: A connector for connecting two stud members in a stud wall comprises a block element made from a polymeric material, the block element comprising a main body portion configured for insertion into an end of a first stud member, the main body portion comprising four substantially orthogonal side walls, an engagement slot being provided in a first one of the side walls and the engagement slot extending in a direction towards an opposite second one of the side walls; an attachment portion extending from the main body portion, the attachment portion including a pair of locking wings configured to engage with a second stud member such that, in use, a part of the second stud member is disposed in gaps between the locking wings and the main body portion; and a plate slot extending through a part of the attachment portion and through a part of the main body portion.

Abstract: A modular wall comprising at least two wall panels, each comprising first and second vertical edges, a top edge and a bottom edge. A leg is connectable to a wall panel, configured to apply a vertical force on the wall panel. The first and second vertical edges are shaped to form a male-female connection between adjacent wall panels. Adjacent wall panels are joined together using adhesive. Each vertical edge is provided with cooperating elements, which in use engage with a cooperating element on an adjacent wall panel to pull the two wall panels together whilst the adhesive cures.

Abstract: A fishing line retrieval system has a body (1) having a central aperture (4), a capture device (5) to capture fishing line (10) running through the central aperture and a retrieval line (8) connected to the body (1). In use, the body is slipped over a trapped fishing line (10), so that the fishing line runs through the central aperture (4) and the body is allowed to sink through body of water in which the fishing line is trapped. The retrieval line (8) is used to manipulate the body so that the capture device (5) captures the fishing line and then pulled on to release the caught fishing line.
