Abstract: Compounds of formulas ##STR1## wherein, B is lower alkylene or an optionally substituted aromatic ring system;G.sup.1, G.sup.2 and G.sup.3 each independently signify a residue of a glycopyranoside, a glycopyranose or a derivative thereof, with at least one hydroxy group of residue G.sup.1, G.sup.2 or G.sup.3 being esterified with sulfuric acid, and pharmaceutically usable salts thereof, are useful for the treatment of disorders which are characterized by excessive or destructive proliferation of smooth muscle cells.

Abstract: The present invention is concerned with novel sulfuric acid esters of sugar alcohols and sugar alcohol-like compounds of the formula ##STR1## Also described are methods for the treatment and/or prophylaxis of arteriosclerotic changes in the vascular wall as well as a process for the manufacture of the compounds of formula I and their salts.

Abstract: The use of compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R is hydrogen or a residue --SO.sub.3 M; M is a cation; and R' and R" are hydrogen or an .alpha.-glycosidically linked sulfated mono- or disaccharide residue; and at least one --SO.sub.3 M group is present per monosaccharide unit,as pharmaceutical compositions for the prevention and/or treatment of arteriosclerotic disorders and for the prevention of restenosis after invasive vascular surgery and after organ transplants.

Abstract: Sulphated O-Polysaccharide-trehaloses which can be used as medicaments, especially for the treatment of arteriosclerotic disorders.
