    Abstract: A coal receptacle of a hookah. The coal receptacle incudes a base and a top. The base has a perforated bottom and an outer annular wall which surrounds the perforated bottom. The top has an annular edge. The annular edge of the top rests on the outer annular wall of the base in a positive engagement. The base forms a bottom ash receiving chamber which receives ash from the pieces of coal. Inside the outer annular wall of the base, a grate for the pieces of coal is borne at a variable height above the perforated bottom and at a distance therefrom. The top forms a domed cover for the bottom ash receiving chamber and the grate.
