  • Publication number: 20220389367
Abstract: A cell culture vessel, cell culture monitoring system, and Raman spectroscopy system for non-invasive measuring of a cell culture are provided. The vessel includes a cell culture chamber that operates as a closed system, a wall defining a boundary of the cell culture chamber and separating the interior space of the cell culture chamber from an exterior of the cell culture chamber, and a window disposed in the wall and separating the interior space of the cell culture chamber from an exterior of the cell culture chamber. The cell culture chamber includes an interior space for housing at least one of the cell culture and a cell culture media. The window includes a polymer and allows monitoring of the cell culture via a monitoring module disposed on the exterior without the monitoring module coming into physical contact with the cell culture or the cell culture media.

  • Patent number: 9857540
Abstract: A strain relief boot and a fiber optic cable assembly are described. The strain relief boot has a first conduit made of at least a first material. The first conduit has a front segment and a rear segment. The rear segment includes at least one discontinuity to make the rear segment more flexible than the front segment. The rear segment also includes at least one projection extending outwardly from the rear segment at a location adjacent to the at least one discontinuity. The strain relief boot also has a second conduit made from at least a second material that is less rigid than the first material. The second conduit at least partially surrounds at least the rear segment of the first conduit and extends rearwardly of the first conduit.

  • Patent number: 9429732
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein include fiber optic cable crimp assemblies employing integrally connected cable strain relief boots to provide a single component crimp assembly. Related fiber optic connectors, cables, and methods are also disclosed. A fiber optic cable crimp assembly is employed for securing a fiber optic connector assembly to a fiber optic cable to form a terminated fiber optic connector. The fiber optic cable crimp assembly includes a cable strain relief boot configured to receive an end portion of a fiber optic cable to provide bend and strain relief for the end portion of the fiber optic cable. A fiber optic cable crimp band is integrally connected to the cable strain relief boot. The fiber optic crimp assembly is further configured to secure the end portion of the fiber optic cable to a fiber optic connector assembly.
