    Abstract: An ice maker includes an ozone generator that has a housing having an air inlet and an air outlet functionally connected to the air inlet for allowing air to flow through the housing. The ozone generator further includes an ozone generating device in the housing. The air outlet is functionally connected to a thermally insulated interior of the ice bin for feeding air containing ozone from ozone generator to the thermally insulated interior, and the air inlet of the ozone generator is functionally connected to the thermally insulated interior of the ice bin for receiving air from the thermally insulated interior. Ice bins and methods for cleaning an ice bin and an ice maker are also described.
