    Abstract: A dismounting tool for disengaging ball joint connections on suspension and steering assemblies is disclosed. The dismounting tool comprises an actuator having two receiving portions, where the actuator is operable to force two receiving portions towards each other along an actuation axis. The dismounting tool further comprises a first tool member having an anvil portion with an engaging surface and a second tool member having a bifurcated portion with a supporting surface. Each of the tool members comprises a through hole and are detachably mounted to a respective receiving portion such that the through holes are arranged coaxially about the actuation axis such that the engaging surface faces the supporting surface. The actuator is, upon actuation, configured to move the two tool members towards each other along the actuation axis.

Further, the tool kit includes a pair of jaw units attachable to the tool yoke and arranged to engage one of the components in order to perform an operation thereon. The jaw units are securable to the tool yoke at different positions along the tool yoke by the jaw fasteners.

    Abstract: A mounting tool and a method for mounting a wheel bearing assembly, having an inner ring flange and an outer bearing ring, into a bearing seat of an axle body of a vehicle are disclosed. The mounting tool includes a supporting member, two L-shaped holding members, which can be fastened at various positions along the supporting member, and at least one securing means for fastening the L-shaped holding members to the supporting member. The holding members each have a foot section with a recess, the foot sections being insertable in an intermediate space between the inner ring flange and the outer bearing ring in order to engage the outer bearing ring. Each recess has a shape configured to apply an evenly distributed pressure to outer bearing rings of several different dimensions. Hereby a flexible and versatile mounting tool is provided.
