  • Publication number: 20230165399
Abstract: A method for preparing a beverage from a substance contained in a capsule is provided. The method includes rotationally driving the capsule at an adjustable rotational speed while feeding liquid into the capsule and draining the beverage produced in the capsule by a beverage draining means. Flow resistance of the beverage draining means is modified by at least one valve, and a state of the at least one valve is controlled by external valve operating means to modify the flow resistance of the beverage draining means while draining the beverage. The external valve operating means applies a force from outside the beverage draining means, and a magnitude of the force is not based on the beverage flowing inside the beverage draining means.

  • Patent number: 11247473
Abstract: A print head of a continuous ink jet printer comprising: a cavity for the circulation of jets, delimited laterally by a 1st side wall and a 2nd side wall, both at least partially parallel to a direction of flow of the jets in the cavity, at least one nozzle for producing at least one ink jet in the cavity, at least one electrode for sorting drops or segments of one or several of the jets intended for printing from drops or segments that are not used for printing; an outlet slot, open onto the exterior of the cavity and allowing the exiting of the drops or segment of ink intended for printing, at least one gutter for recovering drops or segments not intended for printing, at least one spraying nozzle, arranged in the cavity, for projecting at least one cleaning fluid towards at least one inner portion of the cavity and a motor driving the at least one spraying nozzle in rotation about an axis (x), for example perpendicular to a direction of flow of the jets in the cavity; a supply circuit supplying at least th

  • Patent number: 8220345
Abstract: An apparatus for inspection of a gap between two surfaces, at least one of which is ferromagnetic, for example in a generator, includes a sensor platform (26) for one or more sensors (26a) and an elongated mount (23), which can be moved out, for the sensor platform (26). The mount (23) can be moved in and out of the gap through an access opening, can be moved out over the length of the gap and can be rolled up outside the gap by a drive (24). In its moved-out state, the mount (23) has a curvature in a lateral cross section. In addition, the mount (23) has a plurality of magnets (27) by which the mount (23) is brought into contact with a ferromagnetic surface. The magnets (27) are attached to the side of the mount (23) facing away from the ferromagnetic surface, ensuring that the mount (23) slides along a ferromagnetic surface. The apparatus allows inspection of gaps from a height of 4 mm and is distinguished by a simple and physically small design.
