  • Patent number: 7136678
Abstract: A portable vibrating device has two electrical motors each having an axle and a weight element coupled to the axle. The axles couple the electrical motors to the weight elements. The weight elements form a weight unit having a total mass m and having a mass center with an offset r in respect to a rotational axis. The weight units are angularly dispositioned to different angular dispositions for varying the amplitude of vibration according to a desired scheme. The angular disposition is controlled by the rotation of the electrical motors. The device may be able to receive messages and to play the by varying the amplitude of vibration accordingly.

  • Patent number: 7072699
Abstract: An electronic device with a body having a first side, a second side a distance from the first side, and a third side between the first and second side. Portions define a space extending from the first side to the second side across the third side. A sliding cover can be fitted in the space. A first housing part is detachably attachable to the electronic device and can cover at least part of the space when the housing part is attached to the electronic device. The first housing part can restrain the sliding cover from escaping the space when attached to the electronic device. The electronic device can allow, when the first housing part is detached from the electronic device, entry and removal of the sliding cover to and from the space. A cover system detachably attaches a sliding cover to an electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20050181827
Abstract: The invention provides a method and apparatus for transferring feelings between a first user and a second user over long distances, having a tactile module and a wireless connection module. The tactile module responds to an isolated tactile stimulus by a first user, for providing a tactile module signal containing information about the stimulus, and also responds to a wireless connection module signal containing information about a reply stimulus signal from a second user, for providing a reply stimulus that can be sensed by the first user. The wireless connection module responds to the tactile module signal, for providing a first wireless signal containing information about the stimulus to be received by a mobile phone or terminal, and also responds to a second wireless signal containing information about the reply stimulus and being received from the mobile phone or terminal, for providing the wireless connection module signal to the tactile module.

  • Patent number: 6829487
Abstract: A method and apparatus for joining a communication group between users of wireless communication devices, comprising at least two users (302, 305) of communication devices who are members of said group and capable of communicating with each other through communication devices, and at least one communication device user (301) not belonging to said group, who is capable of communicating with at least one member (305) of the communication group through a communication device. In the method, the communication device user (301) not belonging to said group creates an apply message (308), transmits the apply message (308) wirelessly to at least one member (305) of said communication group for the purpose of becoming a member of said group, at least one member (305) of the group creates a feedback (307) on joining said group, transmits the feedback (307) wirelessly in response to the received apply message, and a decision is formed on joining said group in response to said feedback.
