  • Patent number: 11514073
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed to generate virtual resource provisioning visualizations. An example apparatus includes a visualization generator to generate a visualization based on a comparison of first provisioning requirements from a blueprint to parameters associated with the cloud computing environment, the first provisioning requirements associated with the provisioning of the virtual resource to the cloud computing environment, a blueprint controller to adjust one or more of the first provisioning requirements to one or more second provisioning requirements in response to determining that the first provisioning requirements are not satisfied based on the visualization, and a deployment controller to deploy the virtual resource to the cloud computing environment based on the one or more second provisioning requirements.

  • Patent number: 11360801
Abstract: Aspects of a workflow evaluation interface for validating, debugging, and evaluating virtual machine workflows are described. In one example, a method for displaying a workflow includes capturing a workflow for management of at least one virtual machine. The workflow can include a number of schema elements, among other attributes, input parameters, and output parameters for tasks of the workflow. The method can also include evaluating a logical flow among the schema elements in the workflow and populating a flow panel in a workflow evaluation interface. The flow panel can include a hierarchical flow of tasks in the workflow and at least one nested multi-task sequence in the workflow. The flow panel can include a carrot to expand the nested multi-task sequence as a branch of the hierarchical flow of tasks. The method can also include rendering a graphical representation of the logical flow among the plurality of schema elements.

  • Publication number: 20050267918
Abstract: System and method to bundle deployment descriptors with enterprise archives (“EAR”). An application is bundled with at least one deployment descriptor file within an EAR. The deployment descriptor file defines properties to establish connectivity to network services. Syntax of the deployment descriptor files is verified with reference to rules definition files included within the application server. Connectivity to the network services is established based on the properties defined in the deployment descriptor files, if the syntax of the deployment descriptor files verifies as valid.
