  • Patent number: 4272030
Abstract: A device for adjusting an inertia cone crusher discharge gap comprises an angle sensor responsive to deflection of the breaking head axis from the vertical and generating a signal used to control an actuator providing vertical displacement of a crushing bowl of the crusher with respect to the breaking head thereof to change the size of the discharge gap. The sensor is an induction-type sensor including inductance coils connected electrically in parallel, and mounted fixedly around the breaking head and uniformly distributed along a circle having the center on the vertical axis of the crusher, and at least one permanent magnet coupled mechanically with an out-of-balance weight inducing electrical signals in said inductance coils as the out-of-balance weight is rotating.

  • Patent number: 4245791
Abstract: A device for mounting the breaking cone of an inertia crusher having a crushing bowl and a breaking cone arranged within the crushing bowl comprises a shell, the top portion of which contains a spherical support provided with a central cylindrical hole to receive a shaft of the breaking cone, and in the bottom portion thereof, there is arranged a ball spindle interconnected with a bush carrying an out-of-balance weight on the outer surface thereof intended for placing the breaking cone shaft therewithin. The bush is of such a length that its upper end is disposed in the central cylindrical hole and enters it so far that the bush rests, when tilted, upon the wall of the central cylindrical hole. Also, an annular projection in the bottom portion of the shell serves as a support for the out-of-balance weight when the bush rests upon the wall of the cylindrical hole.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device for fastening an armour to the crushing cone of a crusher having an armour-clad outside cone and an armour-clad crushing cone mounted therein on a spherical support. The device comprises a pressure bush and a screw provided with a flange threaded into a bore in the central area of the crushing cone. The pressure bush is arranged in the upper end face of the armour-clad crushing cone and it is provided with projections. The flange is provided with threaded bores and slots to receive the projections of the pressure bush. The pressure bush is located under the flange with a clearance there between and said clearance being fixed with distance bolts threaded into the threaded bores of the flange and bearing against the pressure bush, thereby generating an interference between the thread of said screw and the bore of the crushing cone.
