  • Publication number: 20220108813
Abstract: The widespread utilization and growing demand for radiopharmaceuticals are attributable to the development and availability of a range of radiopharmaceuticals. The present disclosure describes methods of making 3-dimensional nano-porous, micro-porous, meso-porous, or macro-porous materials. The present disclosure also describes methods of irradiating and separating isotopes using the 3-dimensional nano-porous, micro-porous, meso-porous, or macro-porous materials.
    Type: Application
    Filed: November 5, 2021
    Publication date: April 7, 2022
    Applicant: STC.UNM
Inventors: Douglas WELLS, Nikolai KALUGIN, Alexey SEROV
  • Patent number: 11262353
Abstract: Materials and methods for the design of hybrid materials comprising a conducting matrix, organic modifiers/linkers and modifying molecules.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 3, 2020
Date of Patent: March 1, 2022
    Assignee: UNM Rainforest Innovations
Inventors: Nikolai Kalugin, Alexey Serov, Lindsay Candelaria, Peter Kalugin
  • Patent number: 10864460
Abstract: A variety of inorganic-organic hybrid materials and various methods for preparing and using the same are described. The hybrid materials are graphene or graphitic materials populated with organic molecules and may have a variety of surface defects, pits or three-dimensional architecture, thereby increasing the surface area of the material. The hybrid materials may take the form of three dimensional graphene nanosheets (3D GNS). If the organic molecules are enantiospecific molecules, the hybrid materials can be used for chiral separation of racemic mixtures.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 30, 2015
Date of Patent: December 15, 2020
    Assignee: UNM Rainforest Innovations
Inventors: Alexey Serov, Plamen B Atanassov, Nikolai Kalugin, Liliya V Frolova
  • Publication number: 20170314383
Abstract: The disclosure provides an instrument for determining the contents of a mixed-phase flow, such as that of a petroleum line. The instrument can use far-infrared, mid-infrared laser spectroscopy, Fourier transform spectroscopy, and Raman spectroscopy methods to determine the components of a mixture, and report the contents to a user.
    Type: Application
    Filed: April 27, 2017
    Publication date: November 2, 2017
Inventors: Titus ISPIRESCU, Robert BALCH, Nikolai KALUGIN
