  • Patent number: 10352493
Abstract: The intersection connection of locomotive cryogenic systems includes a flexible double-wall corrugated pipeline having two corrugated pipes made of cold-resistant steel, which are arranged one inside the other and separated by elastic inserts. There are end adapter flanges fixed to the end walls of the locomotive adjacent sections, and an elastic bar connected to the flexible double-wall corrugated pipeline with suspensions. The intersection connection can be provided with an elastic bar aligned relative to the inner corrugated pipe with centering elastic inserts.

  • Publication number: 20180066800
Abstract: The cryogenic gas equipment unit designed for arrangement and operation of the gas treatment system for locomotives. The unit includes a sheet-lined housing with a power rack. An upper portion of the unit housing has a shape geometrically following the shape of the inner surface of the locomotive body roof. A flooring made of a cold-resistant heat-insulating material is attached to the bottom inside the unit. An aperture is made in one of the side walls of the unit housing. Temperature deformation compensators for cryogenic fuel lines and the cryogenic equipment unit housing are installed in the entry and exit points of the cryogenic fuel lines on the unit housing. A routine inspection of the equipment in the cryogenic gas equipment unit may be carried out through the aperture. In case a piece of the cryogenic gas equipment in the unit fails, the whole unit may be removed and replaced.

  • Patent number: 9849406
Abstract: The cryogenic device for separating gas fraction from a liquefied natural gas flow carries out a two-stage separation of a gas fraction. The device includes a cylindrical housing provided with an inlet pipeline and an outlet pipeline, and a perforated partition arranged within the housing so as to face the outlet pipeline. The housing has two (upper and lower) portions of cylindrical shape that are connected to each other at an angle ? of 135°-170°. There are two additional pipelines on the outside, one of them being used for pressure feed of a gas fraction after the first separation stage into the housing upper portion, and the other additional pipeline being used for extracting a gas fraction after the second separation stage into the gas cavity of a reservoir containing a cryogenic fuel.
