  • Patent number: 11981064
Abstract: A die plate changing system holds first and second die plates and selectively transitions the first and second die plates into and out of communication with a material source. The die plate changing system has a frame having a body defining a first recess that receives the first die plate and a second recess that receives the second die plate, where the frame is heats the first and second die plates when the first and second die plates are disposed in the first and second recesses, respectively. The die plate changing system also includes a movement assembly operably coupled to the frame and that selectively moves the frame between a first position, where the first die plate receives material from the material source, and a second position, where the second die plate receives the material from the material source.

  • Patent number: 11858176
Abstract: The invention relates to a die assembly for a pelletizing apparatus, the die assembly having a pressure regulating device that has a base member, a flow channel, and an annular channel. The base member has a fluid inlet side and a fluid outlet side. The flow channel is formed in the base member to provide a fluid-conducting connection between the fluid inlet side and the fluid outlet side. The annular channel section is connected to the flow channel in a fluid-conducting manner and formed in the region of the fluid outlet side. The invention is characterized by a flow cross-section regulating element for influencing a flow cross-section of the annular channel section. The regulating element is movable relative to the annular channel section and/or the flow channel.

  • Publication number: 20230294328
Abstract: A pelletizing apparatus for the production of pellets from a melt flow comprising a pelletizer (12, 112), a cutting chamber (14, 114, 172), and a suspension structure (4, 104) for suspension of the pelletizer (12, 112) and/or the cutting chamber, wherein the suspension structure (4, 104) has a stationary portion (8, 108) and a portion (6, 106) connected rotatably about an axis of rotation (18, 118) to the stationary portion (8, 108) by means of a joint (16, 116). According to the invention it is proposed that the pivotable portion (6, 106) has a substantially horizontal support arm (20, 120) which extends from the axis of rotation (18, 118) and has a distal end (22, 122), wherein in the region of the distal end (22, 122) the pivotable portion (6, 106) has a support (10, 110) adapted to support the pivotable portion (6, 106) in a vertical direction (24, 124).

  • Patent number: 10974174
Abstract: A separation device, such as a centrifugal dryer, for separating a mixture of a solid material and a fluid is described. The device has a housing having at least one housing inlet for supplying the mixture and at least one housing outlet for discharging the solid material or the fluid separated from the mixture. The device also has a rotor that is arranged within the housing and is mounted rotatably around a longitudinal axis. The rotor causes movement of the solid material in the direction of the longitudinal axis by rotating. The rotor has multiple rotor segments, which can be separated from each other.

  • Publication number: 20200256619
Abstract: A separator has a housing that includes a screen positioned within the housing and defining a separation chamber having an inlet that receives a mixture and a discharge opening. The separator includes a pipe at least partially extending along an inlet axis, where the pipe is in fluid communication with the inlet of the separation chamber, and a rotor extending through the separation chamber, where the rotor rotates about a longitudinal axis such that rotation of the rotor moves the solid material upwards in a transport direction that is substantially parallel to longitudinal the axis. The inlet axis is oriented such that the pipe directs the material upwards through the inlet along a material direction that extends at least partially along the transport direction.
