Abstract: A method for using an interest-attention feedback loop involving the determination of the interest of a person in a left sensor stimulation stream and a right sensor stimulation stream, and the adjustment of attention factors to balance that interest, with the intent to facilitate, or train, a person to intentionally suppress binocular fusion and operate within the dual experience, where the person is able to simultaneously render separate left and right mental displays. The dual experience allows the person new mental processing capabilities that can produce novel information synthesis, double the information input in man machine interfaces, and allow reaction to the cognitive awareness of two simultaneous world views. This includes facilitating awareness and interactions with two different computer screen interfaces simultaneously, reducing fatigue associated with optical screen switching, and encouraging the fusion of two different simultaneous experiences into an abstract information synthesis.

Abstract: A system for generating simultaneous awareness of two separate sensor stimulation patterns (1,5,15,16, 23L,23R,24L,24R) and implementing interest measurement (20,22,7) and attention factors modification (4,10,17,18) in different left and right stimulation patterns in order to suppress stereo vision and binocular rivalry and instead facilitate simultaneous observance of both mental images (9). The user will be able to use the balance point between left and right image rivalry to maintain awareness of a simultaneous dual vision, audio, and tactile experience. Abstract: A portable unit for detecting a position with respect to a reference, particularly for substantially shielded environments, comprising a suitable power supply element. The unit comprises a control and processing processor, a device for three-dimensional orientation with respect to geographical references, at least one accelerometer, a screen, a memory component and respective data input and output interfaces. The processor is preset by the user by means of the input interface and is adapted to process instantaneously the data supplied during use by the orientation device and by the at least one accelerometer, displaying the processing on the screen and storing it in the memory component.
