  • Publication number: 20250157024
Abstract: A method of using a coordinate measuring machine includes accessing a database and ascertaining workpiece coordinates for a designated workpiece by evaluating corresponding measurement data or planning data. Each data record in the database includes data on at least two geometric elements that a workpiece might contain, at least one geometric relationship of the at least two geometric elements to one another, and a test feature assigned to the at least two geometric elements that is testable. The method includes creating a determination result by determining, based on the workpiece coordinates, whether the designated workpiece contains the at least two geometric elements and the at least one geometric relationship of a data record. The method includes generating a test plan for measuring the designated workpiece by, depending on the determination result in relation to the respective data record, incorporating the assigned test feature in the test plan.

  • Publication number: 20240247925
Abstract: A computer device includes memory that stores a test plan for a coordinate measuring machine to perform an object measurement. The test plan includes at least one test feature for a plurality of reference elements of the object. The computer device includes at least one processor configured to execute instructions stored in the memory. The instructions include, for each of the reference elements, obtaining at least one accuracy variable. The accuracy variable specifies an accuracy of the measurement result of a respective reference element. The instructions include ascertaining an error effect of each reference element on the quantification of the test feature based on the respective accuracy variable. The instructions include ascertaining for each of the error effects whether it meets an error criterion and, if so, classifying a reference element assigned to this error effect as a critical reference element.

  • Publication number: 20220197489
Abstract: An electronic functional module for control electronics of a centrifugal pump assembly has a functional unit that adds an additional function to the control electronics, and the control electronics has operating software with a graphical user interface for settings of the centrifugal pump assembly whose appearance is defined by image frame data. The functional module transmits values of attributes that describe properties of at least one variable of the functional unit to the control electronics, and the control electronics generates, as a function of the attribute values using the image frame data and according to a set of rules, screen views that are independent of the operating software and that supplement the user interface at least temporarily. These screen views, including a value of the variable integrated into one of the screen views, are shown on a display.
