In the product, said pouch chamber is interconnected to another pouch chamber containing the same or another composition, thereby resulting in at least two interconnected pouch chambers each comprising a composition and wherein a separation section separates one pouch chamber from another. Each pouch chamber has a length of from about 1 mm to about 40 mm and a width of no greater than about 10 mm.

Abstract: Use of a nicotine-cellulose combination, maltitol and a gum base for the preparation of a chewing gum composition for achieving a fast onset of nicotine effect after initiation of chewing the chewing gum composition by a subject. The chewing gum composition is preferably prepared by direct compression and it does not disintegrate during chewing. The invention also relates to chewing gum compositions comprising nicotine, which compositions provide a rapid release of nicotine.

Abstract: Method and device and device for inserting a tubular prosthesis having a retainer projecting transversely at each end thereof, said retainer being resiliently foldable towards the axis of said tubular element, into a tracheoesophageal fistula. A loading tube is passed over the prosthesis the retainers being folded projecting substantially axially from the ends of the prosthesis, and the loading tube with the prosthesis enclosed by the loading tube is passed through the fistula from one side of the tracheoesophageal wall and then the loading tube is partly withdrawn the prosthesis being held stationary by a tool inserted into the tube from the other end thereof so that one retainer will be released and will unfold at the other side of the wall. The loading tube is withdrawn further in order that the other retainer will be unfolded at said one side of the tracheoesophageal wall.
