    Abstract: A component of the technical system, a component designation and a characteristic parameter designation for a characteristic parameter of relevance to the design of the components are read and a search engine is queried with same is provided. The documents found by the search engine are read and component information, e.g. product information concerning a specific component, is extracted from said documents. The extracted component information is supplied to a machine learning routine which has been trained, using a plurality of predefined training component information and training characteristic parameter values, to reproduce predefined training characteristic parameter values using predefined training component information. Output data from the machine learning routine is selected as characteristic parameter values and inserted into a planning data record. The planning data record is then output to design the technical system.

    Abstract: To monitor or control a machine, current operating signals are captured continuously, and a current operating state is measured continuously. On the basis of the captured operating, a simulated operating state is determined continuously by a concurrent simulator. In addition, upon detection of a difference between the simulated operating state and the measured operating state, a difference pattern that quantifies the deviation or a change in the measured operating state is compared with a plurality of specified difference types which are characteristic of a modification of the machine or a machine operation, and each of the difference types is assigned a difference-type-specific simulator variant. Depending on the result of the comparison, one of the difference types is then selected. On the basis of the simulator variant assigned to the selected deviation type, the concurrent simulator is adapted, and the machine is monitored or controlled using the adapted concurrent simulator.

    Abstract: In order to repair a workpiece, a requirement specification about a requirement to be met by the workpiece and a numerical simulation model for simulating a physical behavior of the workpiece are imported. Furthermore, a current shape of the workpiece is detected by means of a sensor. Where a deviation of the current shape from a target shape S of the workpiece is identified, a respective physical behavior of the workpiece in its current shape and in a shape added to by means of a 3D printer are simulated using the simulation model. Furthermore, a check is performed on the basis of the requirement specification to ascertain whether the simulated physical behavior meets the requirement. Depending on the outcome of the check, the workpiece is then either left in its current shape, added to by the 3D printer or discarded.
