  • Publication number: 20240084716
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for inspecting a component, in particular a component of a turbomachine (1), including the steps of: capturing (S2) at least one X-ray or CT image of the component (10) using an image-capturing device (20); providing (S21) metadata about the component (10), the metadata including, in particular, a component type, a running time of the component (10), a number of remaining life cycles, and/or a repair history; classifying, by a machine learning system (30), the component (10) into a “serviceable” category or a “non-serviceable” category based on the image captured by the image-capturing device (20) and the provided metadata.

  • Patent number: 11223258
Abstract: The invention relates to an electric motor comprising a rotor and a stator, the hollow cylindrical stator of which has a distributed winding consisting of multiple circumferential coil layers arranged one over the other in layers with a winding head. A temperature sensor for detecting a winding head temperature is arranged in the winding head. A dimensionally stable sensor receiving element with a functional section having a receiving area for the temperature sensor is provided which is added between two adjacent coil layers arranged one over the other such that the functional section is fixed in the winding head between the two coil layers that are spread apart by the introduction of the functional section and that the temperature sensor can be inserted into and removed from the receiving area through an opening arranged in a base section of the sensor receiving element, wherein the receiving area is delimited on one hand sectionally by the functional section and on the other hand sectionally by the winding.

  • Patent number: 11196322
Abstract: In a method for manufacturing an electric motor comprising a rotor and a stator a placeholder for a temperature sensor is inserted in the axial direction between a first coil layer and an adjacent second coil layer of a winding head such that the placeholder is situated in a gap-shaped recess extending between the first and the second coil layers, the first coil layer is then pressed onto a circumferential surface of the placeholder and onto the second coil layer and is plastically deformed such that a space between the lateral surfaces of the two coil layers and the circumferential surface of the placeholder is reduced, and a contact surface between the lateral surface of the first coil layer and the circumferential surface of the placeholder is enlarged. By removing the placeholder, a receiving chamber is subsequently formed in the winding head, into which a temperature sensor is then inserted.

  • Publication number: 20210203212
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing an electric motor (1) comprising a rotor and a stator (3), the stator (3) thereof comprising a hollow cylindrical stator metal sheet (5) and a distributed winding (6) consisting of a plurality of peripheral coil layers (9, 9?, 9?) arranged one above the other in a layered manner. According to said method, a place holder for a temperature sensor (11) for detecting a temperature of the winding (6) is inserted in the axial direction between a first coil layer (91) and an adjacent second coil layer (9?) of a winding head (7) of the winding (6) in such a way that the place holder is arranged in a gap-like recess extending between the first coil layer (9*) and the second coil layer (9?).
