    Abstract: A drip irrigation emitter comprises an emitter inlet, an emitter outlet, an irrigation fluid path extending therebetween including a pressure-reducing mechanism configured to convert fluid flow entering the emitter inlet under pressure, into a drip flow from the outlet. The emitter further comprises a fluid-accumulation chamber having at least one chamber orifice configured for being brought into fluid communication with an exterior of the emitter for receiving therefrom an accumulatable fluid and further configured to allow introduction of the accumulatable fluid into the chamber via the orifice.
