  • Patent number: 10039503
Abstract: Techniques are provided for monitoring, analysis, and feedback of pressure measurements associated with anatomical regions of a subject user. A methodology implementing the techniques according to an embodiment includes receiving pressure measurement samples from a user-wearable device. The samples are associated with anatomical stress locations of the user, such as, for example, knees, feet, and/or back. The method further includes calculating a percentage of the samples that exceed a threshold pressure value during a selected time period. The method also includes determining an alert condition if the calculated percentage exceeds a percentage threshold value; and generating a notification message based on the alert condition. The notification message is wirelessly transmitted from the user-wearable device to the user's mobile communication device.
