The method comprises receiving a user input from a control device, relating the user input to an area of said display, determining an application which is linked to said area such that said application is executed in response to the selection of said area, and superposing an application icon associated with said application over at least a part of said idle mode background image.

Abstract: An improved camera apparatus and diversification of the use of a camera apparatus such that when the trigger for taking a picture is activated, a certain predefined sound clip of the camera apparatus is activated, which sound clip is played with the sound-reproducing equipment of the camera apparatus before taking a picture. The camera apparatus according to the embodiments of the invention comprises a trigger, which can be activated for taking a picture, and a processor and associated software for activating a certain predefined sound clip after trigger activation, and sound-reproducing equipment for playing the sound clip before taking a picture.
