  • Publication number: 20260203864
Abstract: An image difference generator can receive first and second images of first and second display outputs of a computer program, such as a webpage. The images can contain two different categories of differences, one related to the differences in the webpage code, and one related to the differences unrelated to the webpage code, such as differences due to environmental, platform, or generally indeterministic sources, unrelated to the webpage code. The image difference generator can identify each category of the differences and their corresponding regions in each image, and highlight them differently in an output difference image. A developer of the software or webpage can inspect the output difference image and focus her development activity on the appropriate category.

  • Publication number: 20260004050
Abstract: A system disclosed comprises a processor that performs operations to freeze a webpage loaded on a browser and conduct a test on the webpage, where the operations include to: identify one or more image elements in the webpage by monitoring the webpage using an observer script that monitors the browser for the image elements in the webpage; parse the image elements in respective document object model (DOM) and identify uniform resource locators (URLs) of the parsed image elements; verify whether each parsed image element is freezable; identify media type of the verified image element using the URL of the verified image element; determine width and height of the verified image element; verify image format of the verified image element; convert encoded strings in the image format to corresponding Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) data of the image element; and modify actual elements in the DOM based on the URI data.

  • Publication number: 20260003489
Abstract: A system including a processor is configured to perform operations to capture a full-page screenshot of an application page. The operations of the processor include to initially capture a screenshot of a subject application page, identify child elements present inside a scrollview, and detect last visible child element that is marked as an anchor element. A subsequent screenshot is captured keeping the anchor element as a previous anchor element. The processor calculates each height of header and footer of the subsequent screenshot and each height is cropped from the subsequent screenshot, performs a scroll depending on a height and location of the scroll view, reviews location of previous anchor element after the scroll is completed, and identifies whether the previous anchor element is the same as the subsequent anchor element and whether location of the subsequent anchor element is not updated, which marks end of the complete screenshot.
