    Abstract: Various embodiments include a testing apparatus capable of testing gas flowing in a duct. The apparatus may include: a housing; a sampling tube extending from the housing to be inserted into the duct, the sampling tube including a gas entry channel and a gas exit channel isolated from each other, with a gas inlet of the gas entry channel and a gas outlet of the gas exit channel disposed in a part of the sampling tube leading into the duct and disposed at the same side of the sampling tube, wherein the gas inlet and the gas outlet have matching gas through-flow areas; and a sensor module disposed in the housing and in gas communication with the gas entry channel to test gas sampled from the gas entry channel.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a mutant of a wild-type RSV F protein. The binding experiment of a pre-fusion conformation trimer-specific monoclonal antibody AM14 shows that the mutant provided in embodiments can have strong activity of binding to the AM14 monoclonal antibody, while the wild-type RSV F protein before artificial mutation has no activity of binding to the AM14 monoclonal antibody. The accelerated stability test result shows that the activity of binding of the mutant provided in the embodiments when placed in a 37° C. environment for four weeks to the AM14 monoclonal antibody does not change obviously. The animal immune experiment result shows that compared with the wild-type RSV F protein before artificial mutation, the mutant provided in the embodiments can induce production of a neutralizing antibody having a higher titer.

    Abstract: A method for determining a size of a cell terminal post is provided in the disclosure. The method includes the following. A cell structural model of a cell is established, where the cell structural model includes a terminal-post model of the terminal post, and the terminal-post model has multiple pre-determined initial terminal-post sizes. The cell structural model and each of the multiple pre-determined initial terminal-post sizes are input into a pre-built thermal simulation model for thermal simulation processing, to obtain temperature data for each of the multiple pre-determined initial terminal-post sizes. All target terminal-post sizes of the terminal post are determined.

    Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods for reducing damage to solar tracker systems during severe weather, such as hailstorms. In one example, a solar module assembly, with edge protection against hail damage, includes a solar module that holds a plurality of photovoltaic cells, the solar module having a front surface and a sidewall extending from the front surface. A frame having a frame wall, which includes a first wall, is disposed about a perimeter of the solar module sidewall and supports the solar module. Further, a hail absorption wall extends along and is spaced from the first wall. The hail absorption wall is attached to the frame and resilient and deflectable towards the first wall. The hail absorption wall absorbs impact energy from hail falling in a direction towards the first wall.

The method is based on hybrid inductive and capacitive sensing. The apparatus includes a sensing system, a measurement circuit, and a controller. The sensing system senses the object based on at least one of an inductive or a capacitive effect. The sensing system includes an inductive sense element, which has an electrical characteristic that changes in a presence of the object based on the inductive effect. The sensing system further includes a capacitive sense element, which has an electrical characteristic that changes in the presence of the object based on the capacitive effect. The measurement circuit measures the electrical characteristics in the inductive and capacitive sense circuits. The controller determines the presence of the object, and discriminates between metallic and non-metallic objects based on the change in the measured electrical characteristics.
