    Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide systems and methods for multimodal layout generations for digital publications. The system may receive as inputs, a background image, one or more foreground texts, and one or more foreground images. Feature representations of the background image may be generated. The foreground inputs may be input to a layout generator which has cross attention to the background image feature representations in order to generate a layout comprising of bounding box parameters for each input item. A composite layout may be generated based on the inputs and generated bounding boxes. The resulting composite layout may then be displayed on a user interface.

    Abstract: A dual performance pillow performs similar to a pillow having a memory foam fill and also performs similar to a pillow having a non-memory foam fill, such as a fiber fill. The pillow includes top and bottoms panels each having a plurality of sides and at least one gusset panel extending between and connected to the top panel and the bottom panel at at least one top and bottom panel side. A closure is positioned on the at least one top and bottom panel side to close and open the pillow at the gusset. The others of the top and bottom panel sides are joined to one another. The pillow includes a fill. The gusset panel is formed from a material having less resistance to air flow than the top and bottom panel material. When the closure is closed and the gusset panel is concealed, air flow into and out of the pillow is restricted and when the closure is open and the gusset panel is exposed, air flow into and out of the pillow is unrestricted.

A methodology implementing the techniques according to an embodiment includes generating, by the DNN, an alpha matte associated with an image, based on user-specified foreground region locations in the image. The method further includes applying a first DNN subnetwork to the image, the first subnetwork trained to generate a binary mask based on the user input, the binary mask designating pixels of the image as background or foreground. The method further includes applying a second DNN subnetwork to the generated binary mask, the second subnetwork trained to generate a trimap based on the user input, the trimap designating pixels of the image as background, foreground, or uncertain status. The method further includes applying a third DNN subnetwork to the generated trimap, the third subnetwork trained to generate the alpha matte based on the user input.
