Abstract: The present invention relates to a male electrical contact of twist-pin type comprising an electrical terminal formed by a bundle comprising three central strands made of nickel or made of copper and 7 peripheral strands made of Ni—Cr—Ti—Al alloy and a bulge in the central portion, it being possible for said alloy to optionally additionally comprise Co and/or Mo. It also relates to the use of this contact in a micro-D connector, advantageously for applications at a service temperature?260° C.

Abstract: Techniques presented herein provide an approach for sharing folders and files across devices. In one embodiment, folder redirection is employed to permit a device running a virtual infrastructure (VDI) client which connects to a remote agent to access folders and files shared by other devices. To enable such folder redirection, a folder redirection management module generates, for each shared folder, a redirection mapping that associates an original folder path with a uniform naming convention (UNC) scheme. When a device attempts to launch a remote desktop in a remote agent using the same username as that associated with other devices that share folders/files, the folder redirection management module transmits redirection mappings for those devices to the remote agent and opens permissions of the corresponding UNC schemes, the remote agent mounts the shared folders as virtual drives, and the shared folders are then accessible through folder redirection based on the redirection mappings.

The switch is in communication with the lock. The switch is configured to receive a signal from the lock, to close if the lock is in the locked position, and to open if the lock is in the unlocked position. The south bridge is in communication with the switch. The south bridge is configured to disable a plurality of communication ports of the information handling system when the switch is closed, and configured to enable the communication ports when the switch is opened.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure include a transponder for determining a characteristic of a dose delivery device. The transponder may include a first sensor configured to detect a first parameter of the dose delivery device based on movement of at least one of the dose delivery device or a medicament contained within the dose delivery device, wherein the first sensor is configured to generate a first signal indicative of the first parameter. The transponder may include a processor operably coupled to the first sensor and configured to process the first signal. The transponder may include an indicator unit operably coupled to the processor and configured to generate an output based on the first signal, wherein the output is perceivable by a user. The transponder may also include a battery configured to provide power to at least one of the first sensor, the processor, and the indicator unit.

The proxy download server includes: a receiving module, a judging module, and a sending module. The mobile terminal includes a sending module and a download module. The present invention improves the download speed and bandwidth usage rate of the mobile terminal browser, and enhances the performance of the mobile terminal browser and the performance of the mobile terminal.

The area covered by the ceramic may be engineered to optimize the contact conditions between the femoral head and the acetabular liner, such as by providing two clearances therebetween. A relatively smaller, polar articulation clearance is defined by the gap between the ceramic coating and the metallic acetabular liner. A relatively larger, equatorial non-articulation clearance between the femoral head and the acetabular liner is defined by the gap between the portion of the femoral head not covered by the ceramic coating.

Abstract: A method for controlling a fan speed is disclosed. The fan cools a CPU in a computer. The method includes defining a CPU-max-temp value of a CPU, such that the first fan speed is linearly enhanced with the increase of a real temperature value of the CPU, when the real temperature value of the CPU is lower than the CPU-max-temp value, and changing the CPU-max-temp value to a higher CPU-max-temp value in a basic input output system. A second fan speed is linearly enhanced with an increase of the real temperature value, when the real temperature value is lower than the higher CPU-max-temp value. The second fan speed is less than the first fan speed at the real temperature value.

Abstract: A heat sink assembly includes an air duct, a heat sink and a fan. The air duct defines an air guiding channel therein. The heat sink is configured to contact a heat source to dissipate heat from a heat source. The heat sink includes a plurality of heat pipes. The heat sink is placed on one side of the air guiding channel, and the heat pipes contacts the air duct to transmit heat to the air duct. The fan is placed on the other side of the air guiding channel to communicate with the heat sink via the air duct. The fan forces air to flow through the air guiding channel to the heat sink to dissipate heat on the air duct and the heat sink.

Abstract: A computer enclosure includes a chassis, a heat dissipation fan, a first duct, and a second duct. The chassis includes a bottom panel with a heat generating component and a side panel a vent defined therein. The first duct is attached between a first side of the fan and the vent of the chassis. The second duct is attached to a second side of the fan and covers the heat generating component. The second duct includes a resilient latch structure latchably secured to the second side of the fan.

Abstract: A carbon nanotube is described, to which quantum dots are attached through non-covalent bonding via linking molecules bonded to the quantum dots. A method of visualizing a carbon nanotube is also described, wherein quantum dots are attached to the carbon nanotube through non-covalent bonding via linking molecules bonded to the quantum dots, and then the quantum dots are made emit light. This invention allows carbon nanotubes, even those in a wet condition, to be visualized by a simple fluorescent optical microscope. Thereby, the difficulties on preparing specimens and the need of sophisticated instruments can be reduced. This invention also exhibits great potential for the application of carbon nanotubes under a wet condition.
