  • Publication number: 20220273675
Abstract: Provided are a novel bile acid derivative for treating fatty liver disease, a pharmaceutical composition thereof, and a use in the preparation of a medicine for treating and improving diseases and symptoms mediated or caused by FXR or TGR5. The bile acid derivative of the present invention inhibits or delays the metabolism of bile acid by bacterial BSH/7? dehydroxylase in the intestine and greatly prolongs the effective survival time of bile acid in the intestine. The bile acid derivative and the pharmaceutical composition thereof can significantly stimulate bile acid membrane receptor TGR5, promote the secretion of glucagon-like peptide 1 from enteroendocrine cells, reduce liver fat accumulation, significantly improve liver function and increase glucose tolerance, thereby having an excellent effect on the treatment of fatty liver disease.

  • Publication number: 20140339996
Abstract: A technique for providing control for an electronic ballast by responding to the current in the common bus (DC power rail) betweeen a boost circuit such as a power factor circuit (PFC) and an output (such as a high frequency (HF) inverter) circuit, and adjusting, changing or shutting down either the power factor control circuit or the inverter circuit when the power going into the inverter circuit is above a threshold. Power going into the inverter circuit may be measured by a resistor, and temperature compensation may be provided. Excess power indicative of a spark is detected in such a way that normal starting of a lamp load connected to the ballast occurs without triggering the change/shutdown but an external arc will trigger the change/shutdown. For example, the output circuit may be shut down and the external arc curtailed within 200 msecs.

Abstract: A technique for providing control for an electronic ballast by responding to the current in the common bus (DC power rail) between a boost circuit such as a power factor circuit (PFC) and an output (such as a high frequency (HF) inverter) circuit, and adjusting, changing or shutting down either the power factor control circuit or the inverter circuit when the power going into the inverter circuit is above a threshold. • Patent number: 8344646
Abstract: A ballast and method for operating a ballast includes a switch or other circuit for connecting and disconnecting a voltage multiplier to a rectifier circuit. A control circuit for controlling the switch senses an input voltage and connects the voltage multiplier to the rectifier circuit when an input voltage falls below a selected voltage level.

  • Patent number: 6879497
Abstract: The multiple output power adapter includes an AC input receptacle which plugs into an AC power socket. The AC input receptacle is connected to an input of a single output power converter which converts the input AC voltage into an output DC voltage of a specified level. Connected to the output terminal of the single output power converter is a DC-DC module converter which converts the output DC voltage into multiple output DC voltages. Additionally, the multiple output power adapter includes an output wire connected to the output terminal of the single output power adapter in parallel with the DC-DC module converter. The output wire and the output terminal of the DC-DC module converter are both then connected to an electrical component connector. With this structure, DC power can be supplied to an electronic device at a voltage level output by the single output power converter and/or at multiple voltage levels output by the DC-DC module converter.
