The present invention can reduce a radial temperature gradient along a radial direction inside the chamber.

The test sample having been subject to the hybridization is stained and the stained cells are observed under a microscope and the microscopic images of the stained test sample are analyzed to calculate parameters relating to the aberrant expression of the at least one imprinted gene. Such aberrant expression is then graded to determine the level of malignancy of a thyroid tumor.
