Abstract: The present invention provides a virtual network function network element management method, apparatus, and system. A VNF resource pool management apparatus receives a VNF network element request message sent by a VNF resource pool user apparatus, where the VNF network element request message includes attribute information and a location policy of a VNF network element that is requested; the VNF resource pool management apparatus determines a first VNF network element that matches the attribute information and the location policy from the VNF resource pool; and the VNF resource pool management apparatus sends a VNF network element response message to the VNF resource pool user apparatus, where the VNF network element response message includes identification information of the first VNF network element. In this way, a risk that a functional group formed by VNF network elements cannot properly work can be avoided.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a transmission control method, apparatus and system, so as to effectively utilize network link resources. The method of the present invention includes: acquiring link status information about a network; determining recommended values of TCP transmission parameters according to the link status information; and performing TCP transmission according to the determined recommended values of the parameters. The present invention can enable TCP transmission status to reflect network congestion status more real, prevent a congestion misjudgment from occurring, and improve a utilization ratio of link resources in a network.

The method includes: receiving, by an OTT server, a media data request initiated by a user terminal, where the OTT server is connected to at least one cache server; determining, by the OTT server, a cache server from the at least one cache server according to a location and/or a capability of the at least one cache server; sending, by the OTT server, a notification message, which carries session information, to the user terminal and the determined cache server, so that the determined cache server receives a media data request, which carries session information, from the user terminal, and sends corresponding media data to the user terminal.

The system of the present disclosure includes a request node and a server, wherein the request node transmits a query request to a catalog server, and the query request includes: real-time streaming media requested to be downloaded and layers of the real-time streaming media requested to be downloaded, the request node receives a list of nodes capable of providing the real-time streaming media of the layers and determined by the catalog server, determines downloading nodes from the list of nodes, and downloads the real-time streaming media of the layers from the downloading nodes.

Abstract: A resource control method includes: obtaining, by a content request node, resource control information of a content, where the content is stored in a storage which provides the content, and the storage is a network node which provides content storage services for the source node of the content; and sending, by the content request node, the resource control information to the storage, where the resource control information is used to control resources used for performing content operations between the storage and the content request node. Through the above technical solutions, the number of terminal nodes interacting with the storage can be lowered, so as to reduce performance requirements on the storage.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a peer selection method, network device, and system. The method includes: receiving a network resource download request sent by a requesting peer, and sending a peer identifier of the requesting peer and a peer identifier of a candidate peer to a server, so that the server queries a storage path cost of the candidate peer according to a preset network map and returns a query result, where the candidate peer owns a network resource requested by the requesting peer; and receiving the query result returned by the server, and notifying the requesting peer of the query result. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, costs between a peer and network storages of other peers can be queried, and a network storage of the lowest cost can be further selected for downloading the network resource.
