The method includes receiving one or more keywords entered in a current search engine and searching data from the current search engine based on the entered keywords. The method also includes displaying a search engine results page from the current search engine to a user and displaying alternative search engines when detecting that an operation event of the user in the search engine results page meets preset switching criteria. Further, the method includes extracting a search web address template corresponding to an alternative search engine selected by the user and loading the entered keywords into the search web address template corresponding to the selected alternative search engine to search data from the alternative search engine. In addition, the method includes displaying a search engine results page from the selected alternative search engine.

Abstract: The embodiments disclose a method and system for controlling address input. The method includes: receiving an event of characters input to an address input; matching the characters input to one or more pre-stored Uniform Resource Locator (URL) entries, and generating a URL entry which includes the characters input; and in response to the URL entry from among the one or more matched pre-stored URL entries, linking a particular matched pre-stored URL entry to a corresponding web page.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for realizing logon to an application service website on an operation platform, including when a user terminal visits the application service website, receiving a first URL request sent from the application service website; obtaining logon information of an account of the application service website from the local according to the first URL request; and returning the logon information of the account to the application service website by invoking a first predefined function containing the logon information of the account, so that the application service website provides a web page for the user terminal to fast log on. The present disclosure also provides an apparatus for realizing logon to an application service website on an operation platform and an operation service platform.

Abstract: The embodiments disclose a method and apparatus for offline access of web pages. The method includes: acquiring on a user terminal a local cache template of a first web page, wherein the local cache template has pre-stored one or more respective paths, each points to a respective designated Uniform Resource Locator (URL) location linked to the first web page, wherein each respective designated URL enables offline access to a corresponding second web page in the first web page; locally caching each of the corresponding second web page, wherein each of the corresponding second web page which corresponds to a respective path pointing to the respective designated URL pre-stored in the local cache template of the first web page, such that the corresponding second web page is to be locally loaded into a browser of the user terminal when the browser accesses the respective designated URL in the first web page.

Abstract: The embodiments of the disclosure provide a page display method and apparatus, belonging to the field of terminals. The method comprises monitoring the page browsing mode of a browser while running the browser; determining a changed page browsing mode, if the page browsing mode of the browser is changed; and displaying a tips button on the current page of the browser, if the changed page browsing mode is a specified mode. The apparatus comprises a monitoring module, a determining module, and a displaying module. Thereby, the tips-making process while switching modes is simplified. The tips button is displayed on a specific location to remind users, without breaking the continuous browsing via the browser, so that non-trace switch can be achieved when the browser changes its page browsing mode.

Abstract: Examples of sensing a gesture with respect to a touch input device are described. For example, a method to sense a gesture may include acquiring a distance between a finger, which may not be in contact with the touch input device, and at least two heat sensing spots on the touch input device. The acquired distances may be compared to identify the shortest distance. The gesture of the finger toward the touch input device may be identified based on the shortest distance being less than a predetermined threshold. The described techniques and examples may improve overall performance of system that may be equipped with the touch input device.

And the method provided by the examples of the present disclosure may position a search object of a user precisely, reducing the interference by useless information, searching the content that the user actually needs and improving the search efficiency under massive information.

Abstract: A method for adding bookmarks and a browser are described. When accessing a webpage, current frequency information of accessing the webpage by a browser is counted. If the frequency information meets a preset condition, a selection interface is displayed. The selection interface is configured for a user to select whether to add the webpage as a bookmark. The webpage is added as a bookmark according to a confirmation instruction after obtaining the confirmation instruction of adding the webpage as a bookmark. The browser includes a counting unit, a displaying unit and an adding unit. The counting unit is configured to count current frequency information of accessing the webpage. The displaying unit is configured to, if the frequency information counted by the counting unit meets a preset condition, display a selection interface. The adding unit is configured to add the webpage as a bookmark according to a confirmation instruction.
