    Abstract: A method that comprises using at least one processor of a mobile device for receiving a device identifier of wireless device(s) broadcasted by the wireless device(s) via wireless channel(s) and intercepted by the mobile device, the device identifier comprising a fixed part uniquely identifying the wireless device(s) and an adjustable part indicative of associated data available at the wireless device(s), comparing between the adjustable part of the intercepted device identifier and the adjustable part of a previously intercepted device identifier of the wireless device(s) identified by the fixed part, establishing a connection with the at least one wireless device via the at least one wireless channel in case the adjustable part of the intercepted device identifier is different from the adjustable part of the previously intercepted device identifier, and communicating with the at least one wireless device to receive updated data associated with the adjustable part of the intercepted device identifier.
