Abstract: Systems and methods for scoring a domain web traffic based on DNS traffic requests received at an authoritative name server to resolve the domain name. A request to resolve the domain name is received at an authoritative name server. A counter, such as a server counter or a hit counter, for the domain name is incremented based on the received request. A score, such as a domain traffic score or a domain rank, is calculated based upon a count of the counter. Calculating the score may also include applying a weighting factor to the counters based on information about a requesting set of resolvers and other domains/websites that may be linking and driving traffic to the domain whose traffic score is being calculated. Examples of relevant set of resolvers information may include location, traffic levels, traffic type and architecture of the set of resolvers.

Abstract: A telephony provider apparatus comprising: a pre-call information receiver, for receiving pre-call information transmitted through a first path and associated with a phone call transmitted through a second path; and a network component, associated with the pre-call information receiver, for provisioning the pre-call information to a callee and co-ordinating connection of the associated phone call to the callee with delivery of the pre-call information. Preferably the call is connected after the callee has seen the pre-call information and actively accepted the call.

Abstract: Apparatus for identification of locations within a cellular network subject to loss of roaming users, comprises a monitoring unit for monitoring International controlling signaling of the cellular network, a register for registering cancel signals associated with roaming cellular telephones leaving the cellular network, and a query unit, for responding to the cancel signals by issuing a query to identify a current cell location of the cellular telephone. The cell locations indicated can then be aggregated to show where there are problems with leakage of roaming users.
