Publication number: 20240090755Abstract: A fluid management system includes a pump configured to pump fluid through the system at a fluid flow rate. The system includes a processor including a user interface, the user interface allowing a user to input a set of system operating parameters, the processor being configured to control the pump to maintain a target fluid flow rate based on the set of system operating parameters. The system further includes a scope device coupled to the pump to deliver fluid to a target surgical site, the scope device including an elongated shaft extending from a distal end thereof, the elongated shaft including at least one sensor, the sensor transmitting sensor data relating to target surgical site to the processor. The processor automatically signals to the pump to adjust the fluid flow rate based on the sensor data.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 29, 2023Publication date: March 21, 2024Applicant: Boston Scientific Scimed, Inc.Inventors: Peter J. Patent number: 11672598Abstract: A medical system includes an insertion device including a handle and a delivery portion, a laser fiber, a conductive wire, and a lock. The laser fiber extends through the insertion device and is coupled to a laser slider to control a position of the laser fiber relative to a distal end of the delivery portion. The conductive wire extends through the insertion device and is coupled to a wire slider to control a position of the laser fiber relative to a distal end of the delivery portion. The lock is positioned within the handle and is movable in order to selectively lock either the movement of the laser slider or lock the movement of the wire slider.Type: GrantFiled: September 22, 2020Date of Patent: June 13, 2023Assignee: Boston Scientific LimitedInventors: Subodh Morey, Rajivkumar Singh, Arun Adhikarath Balan, Niraj P. Publication number: 20220292682Abstract: Systems and methods for processing electronic images from a medical device comprise receiving a first image frame and a second image frame from a medical device, and determining a region of interest by subtracting the first image frame from the second image frame, the region of interest corresponding to a visual obstruction in the first image frame and/or second image frame. Image processing may be applied to the first image frame and/or second image frame based on a comparison between a first area of the first image frame corresponding to the region of interest and a second area of the second image frame corresponding to the region of interest, and the first image frame and/or second image frame may be provided for display to a user.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 31, 2022Publication date: September 15, 2022Applicant: Boston Scientific Scimed, Inc.Inventors: Longquan CHEN, Niraj P. RAUNIYAR, Evan GYLLENHAAL
