  • Publication number: 20160234142
Abstract: Systems and methods for sending/receiving improved in-browser notification messages are provided. The notification messages are overlaid on HTTP traffic on port 80 for IP addresses provisioned to receive the notification messages from various sources, including weather, emergency broadcast, and police stations. A load balancer within the end-to-end system allows HTTP traffic on port 80 to be forked from non HTTP traffic on port 80 to selectively insert notification messages. The notifications are inserted by an internet content adoption protocol (ICAP) server in communication with other devices within the system.
    Type: Application
    Filed: September 11, 2015
    Publication date: August 11, 2016

  • Publication number: 20160226898
Abstract: Methods and systems are described whereby a server can forward a request from a device behind a NAT router to a system to determine if the request is suspicious. A server can receive a message via a network device, such as a NAT router, disposed at a location. The message can originate from one of a plurality of computings device located downstream of the network device. The server can determine that the message originated from a compromised device and transmit a signal to facilitate execution of a first process on the computing devices located downstream from the compromised device, wherein, upon execution, the first process is configured to compare information located in a local storage of the computing device with a predetermined list of domains.

  • Publication number: 20060018328
Abstract: A method and system for powerline networking. The method and system include an adapter and a gateway connected to powerlines. The gateway is operable for configuring the adapter for powerline networking by communicating configuration signals to the adapter over the powerlines. A powerline network is defined by the configuring of the adapter to communicate with the gateway over the powerlines.
