  • Publication number: 20240076714
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to paper microfluidic devices for use in combination with a viewing box assembly for imaging and rapid identification and quantification of target analytes in a fluid sample that is deposited onto the device such that one or more target analytes in the sample react with one or more diagnostic components on the paper, causing a detectable reaction. The reacted microfluidic device may then be placed inside an opaque viewing box having an internal light source and top panel viewing aperture through which the microfluidic device may be imaged using a mobile electronic device and graphical user-interface for purposes of detecting and quantifying the one or more target analytes. In some embodiments, the microfluidic device includes diagnostic paper and abase. In some embodiments, the microfluidic device includes a filter layer on top of diagnostic paper layer.

  • Publication number: 20230289609
Abstract: A computer system (which includes one or more computers) that generates a second autoencoder (AE) neural network (such as an ALAP-AE neural network) is described. During operation, the computer system may obtain information specifying an initial AE neural network. Then, the computer system may compute a subset of filters associated with the initial AE neural network to remove based at least in part on a L1-norm loss function and weights associated with filters in initial AE neural network. Moreover, the computer system may prune the subset of the filters from the initial AE neural network. Next, the computer system may generate the ALAP-AE neural network by retraining the initial AE neural network, where the retraining includes a student-teacher model in which the teacher includes the pruned initial AE neural network and the student includes the ALAP-AE neural network.

  • Publication number: 20220370777
Abstract: Disclosed are devices, systems and methods for in situ payload delivery via a degradable microneedle. In some aspects, a microneedle therapeutic payload delivery device includes a substrate; an activation particle; and one or more degradable microneedle structures coupled to the substrate and including a polymeric matrix structured to embed the activation microparticle and one or more therapeutic payloads, the one or more degradable microneedle structures each including an exterior wall spanning outward from a base surface and forming an apex at a terminus point of the exterior wall, wherein the polymeric matrix of a microneedle structure of the one or more degradable microneedle structures is degradable under an environmental parameter of a biofluid surrounding the microneedle structure to dissolve and allow the one or more therapeutic payloads and the activation particle to the surrounding biofluid.

  • Publication number: 20220309670
Abstract: Methods and systems for visualizing information on gigapixels Whole Slide Image are described. In an example, a method for visualizing information includes providing an image viewer with a list of information to visualize, loading an image and a mask for an information source, and dynamically finding a zoom factor. If the zoom factor is not suitable for fine detailed view, then information for a coarse mask is shown. If the zoom factor is suitable for fine detailed view, then information for a fine detailed mask is chosen from a plurality of information sources.

  • Patent number: 10621622
Abstract: Techniques for providing notifications may be described. In particular, responses to past notifications transmitted from a computer system to a user device associated with a user account may be accessed. A notification profile for the user account may be generated based on the responses. The notification profile may include sequence of time slots to transmit notifications within a time period. A notification topic may also be determined based on past interactions of the user device with the computer system. Notifications corresponding to that notification topic may be scheduled for transmission to the user device based on the notification profile. A response to a transmitted notification may be analyzed to determine whether to change the notification topic. If so, remaining notifications may be updated based on the change before transmittal.

  • Patent number: 10366431
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for resuming sessions and electronic commerce session across devices. A computing environment is employed to maintain a navigation history comprising a plurality of product pages accessed by a first client device during an electronic commerce session. At least one of the plurality of product pages is determined to be presented on the second client device in response to a request to resume the electronic commerce session being received from a second client device. The product page determined is presented on the second client device.

  • Patent number: 9959551
Abstract: Techniques for providing a messaging plan may be provided. A message that conforms to a channel agnostic format may be received. In an example, a messaging plan that includes a channel for delivering the message may be determined based at least in part on a score determined by a machine learning module utilizing metrics of a user. The message may be provided to the user according to the messaging plan. The messaging plan may be updated for subsequent messages based at least in part on updated metrics of the user received in response to the user interacting with the message.
