  • Patent number: 10771520
Abstract: Methods and systems for intelligent use of off-peak bandwidth are disclosed. An example method can comprise receiving a request for content from a user device. The content server can transmit the content to the user device. Upon receiving a teardown command to suspend transmission of the content, after transmitting a first portion of the content to the user device, the content server can determine that playback of the content is likely to be resumed at a peak time. The content server can then pre-position a second portion of the content proximate to the user device prior to the peak time.

  • Patent number: 10726150
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein provide systems, methods, and computer readable media for indicating data object exposure in a cloud computing environment. In a particular embodiment, a method provides receiving information about a data object from the cloud computing environment. The method further provides analyzing the information to determine a plurality of exposure characteristics for the data object. The method further includes determining an indication of exposure of the data object based on the plurality of exposure characteristics.

  • Publication number: 20200108310
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described for identifying computer programs/video games that are compatible with a particular content stream and obtaining metadata indicating various different states of the content stream or event depicted in the content stream. The metadata may be supplied as input state information to the computer programs/video games to begin a simulation of the event depicted in the content stream or to initiate a video game session corresponding to the state of the content stream.

  • Publication number: 20200107071
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for determining usage information. A content device accessing content may determine an advertising event associated with the content. A trigger time may be determined that is a predetermined time before a start time of the advertising event. The content device may cause activation of a data capture component to capture data at the trigger time and at one or more times during the advertising event. The data can be compared to determine usage information indicative of user behavior during the advertising event.

  • Publication number: 20200027322
Abstract: Methods and systems for illuminating a path are described. Data indicating a condition can be received by a lighting device. A light for output by the lighting device can be determined based on a location of the lighting device, such as a location of the lighting device relative to the condition and/or an egress. Data indicating the condition and/or data indicating the light for output can be transmitted to one or more other lighting devices, thereby illuminating a path away from the condition to the egress.
