Abstract: Digital content operation testing techniques are described. An authoring environment supports edit operations to digital content. The authoring environment includes an option to initiate testing of operation of edited digital content at a publish environment of a content delivery network, at which, the digital content is to be deployed. Data describing results of the testing is then communicated over the network based to the digital content editing system. The data is output within the user interface of the authoring environment in this example such that an effect of edits made to the digital content are viewable non-modally within the authoring environment.

  • Patent number: 11816075
Abstract: Arrangements for database schema creation and control are provided. In some aspects, a user may request creation or modification of a database schema. In response to receiving the request, one or more interactive user interfaces may be generated. The one or more interactive user interfaces may enable a user to select one or more selectable options for presenting data, establishing relationships between data, data sources, and the like. The schema, including a schema configuration including the presentational aspects and relationships, may be stored. A user may request to view data and the stored database schema may be retrieved. The schema may be transmitted to a configuration engine that may retrieve the requested data from one or more non-relational database sources. One or more user interfaces may be dynamically generated based on the schema configuration and may include the retrieved data.

  • Patent number: 11818018
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments provide a system that facilitates the processing of network data. During operation, the system causes for display, on a computer system, a graphical user interface (GUI) for obtaining configuration information for configuring the generation of time-series event data from network packets captured by one or more remote capture agents. Next, the system causes for display, in the GUI, a first set of user-interface elements for managing one or more ephemeral event streams that contain temporarily generated time-series event data from the network packets, wherein managing the one or more ephemeral event streams comprises modifying an end time for terminating the capture of time-series event data in an ephemeral event stream. The system then updates the configuration information based on input received through the first set of user-interface elements.

  • Patent number: 11818461
Abstract: A context-controlled video quality camera system running a software application to perform video quality settings actions in response to triggering conditions suggesting a recording context in which particular values of one or more video quality settings are preferred. Triggering conditions include a geolocation of a camera device, a present time, and/or sensed ambient conditions. Video quality settings actions include either automatically adjusting settings to the particular values or prompting a user to select whether to adjust the settings. Rules having triggering conditions and corresponding video quality settings actions can include default rules of the software application. The rules can be updated on the user's own initiative or in response to identified triggering patterns of user activity, either automatically or as selected by a user in response to automatic pro.

  • Publication number: 20230351807
Abstract: A machine learning model (MLM) may be trained and evaluated. Attribute-based performance metrics may be analyzed to identify attributes for which the MLM is performing below a threshold when each are present in a sample. A generative neural network (GNN) may be used to generate samples including compositions of the attributes, and the samples may be used to augment the data used to train the MLM. This may be repeated until one or more criteria are satisfied. In various examples, a temporal sequence of data items, such as frames of a video, may be generated which may form samples of the data set. Sets of attribute values may be determined based on one or more temporal scenarios to be represented in the data set, and one or more GNNs may be used to generate the sequence to depict information corresponding to the attribute values.

  • Publication number: 20230353510
Abstract: A method of reducing latency in communication of data packets comprising the steps of: receiving a data packet from a first device; determining whether the addition of the data packet results in the current number of data packets stored in all data queues exceeds a global threshold limit, where if the addition of the data packet results in the number of data packets stored not exceeding the global threshold limit then (i) allocate the data packet to a queueing group based on a predetermined factor; (ii) determine whether the addition of the data packets results in the number of data packets stored in the data queues of the allocated queueing group exceeds a local threshold limit. However, if the addition of the data packet results in the number of data packets stored not exceeding the local threshold limit then allocate the data packet to a data queue in the allocated queueing group based on the predetermined factor.

  • Patent number: 11803324
Abstract: A transaction management system includes a storage circuit and a processing circuit. The storage circuit stores a current tag value of a tag ID of a device and a tag value associated with a transaction initiated by the device. The processing circuit receives a reset query to determine an availability of the device for reset. When the device is to be reset, the current tag value of the tag ID is updated. Further, the processing circuit generates an acknowledgment in response to the reset query such that the device is reset based on the acknowledgment. The updated tag ID ensures that responses for transactions that are initiated by the device before the reset are discarded.

Abstract: Methods and wearable devices for optimizing power consumption using sensor-based position and use determinations are described here. One example method is performed at a device that includes a first sensor configured to operate with a first power consumption rate and a second sensor configured to operate with a second power consumption rate. The method includes, while a component associated with the second sensor is in an inactive state, receiving first sensor data, and determining whether the first sensor data indicates movement of the device. The method also includes, when movement of the device is indicated, operating the second sensor in an active state. The method further includes, after activating the second sensor, when second sensor data from the second sensor indicates that the device has been placed on a user’s body, continuing to operate the second sensor in the active state.
