  • Publication number: 20240306077
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein relate to dynamic methods and systems for reading System Information Block 19 (SIB19) for maintaining Uplink Synchronization (UL Sync) and updated cell information during Non-Terrestrial networks (NTN) connectivity. The methods include a dynamic algorithm to reacquire SIB19 by considering different factors of UE's current status such as Radio Resource Control (RRC) states (idle/inactive/connected), SI periodicity of SIB19, emergency call status and UL Sync validity timer duration. The methods include monitoring of the UE status periodically and dynamically executing the algorithm to decide the time instance and periodicity to re-acquire SIB-19 based on UE current status. The methods include evaluating the UE condition on each SIB periodicity, and determining the next time period and periodicity to read SIB19.

  • Publication number: 20240303679
Abstract: Methods and systems for creation and management of a clearance schedule for in-store clearance of a retail item are disclosed. A markdown schedule may be generated using a first model representing a demand forecast and a second model that represents estimated price elasticity for the item to be placed into the clearance program. The estimated price elasticity may be determined from historical sales data of an identified past clearance item. In some instances, backtesting data may be generated from past clearance sales, and a comparison of the backtesting data to the current clearance program may be performed to update the markdown schedule. In some instances, updated sales data may be received, and model parameters updated. A user interface presenting a revised demand forecast may be generated, and a clearance schedule implementation tool may update the optimal markdown schedule for the inventory item for future periods of the clearance program.

  • Publication number: 20240289809
Abstract: Aspects described herein may relate to a transaction exchange platform using a streaming data platform (SDP) and microservices to process transactions according to review and approval workflows. The transaction exchange platform may receive transactions from origination sources, which may be added to the SDP as transaction objects. As the transactions are received, the transactions may be analyzed to detect duplicate transactions and/or errors in the transactions. The transaction exchange platform may take steps to remediate transactions that are recognized as duplicates or predicted to generate one or more errors. Similarly, the transaction exchange platform may take steps to remediate transactions that are rejected by a clearinghouse.

  • Publication number: 20240290112
Abstract: In various examples, systems and method are provided for generation of ground truth gaze data for training in-cabin monitoring systems and applications. A gaze target projector mounted to a known position inside a cabin may be used to project a gaze target onto an interior surface of the cabin. Because a beam of light may be used to produce the projected gaze target, the projected gaze target may be displayed at a projection point on the surface of the cabin interior, even if the surface at the projection point is curved, small, or an irregular shape. Three-dimensional coordinates of a projected gaze target in the cabin coordinate system may be determined and used to label image data that is captured as a projected gaze target is selectively projected onto an interior surface of the cabin and a test occupant's gaze is directed at the projected gaze target.

  • Patent number: 12075192
Abstract: A video recording system and method for labeling networked meetings and video/audio clips from a main stream of video/audio is disclosed and claimed. The video recording system allows a system user to selectively view and label a main video stream. A rewind control rewinds the main stream of video, and then labels the selected video clip from a start pointer to an end pointer. The video recording system also allows users to label an event for easy lookup in the future. For example, a child's solo performance at a music recital can be easily labeled for lookup.

  • Patent number: 12073221
Abstract: A context switching system includes a processor and a scheduler. The processor is configured to execute a first thread. A first context associated with the first thread is stored in a register set of the processor. While the first thread is being executed, the scheduler is configured to select a second thread from a set of threads, and receive and store a second context associated with the second thread in a register set of the scheduler. The second thread is to be scheduled for execution after the first thread. The scheduler is further configured to swap the first and second contexts when the execution of the first thread is halted, thereby executing the context switching. Further, the processor is configured to execute the second thread based on the second context. While the second thread is being executed, the first context is stored in the data memory.

  • Patent number: 12070565
Abstract: A device for wound irrigation and debridement includes a body extending along a longitudinal axis. The body comprises an interior region and an opening such that that the interior region and the first opening are configured to transfer an irrigation fluid. The body comprises a compliant region having a first stiffness and a debridement region having a different second stiffness. The compliant region defines a distal surface. In a first configuration, the compliant region defines a first axial dimension, the distal surface engages a target body region, and the debridement region is axially offset from the distal surface and disengaged from the target body region. In a second configuration, the compliant region is compressed to define a second axial dimension less than the first axial dimension, thereby engaging the debridement region with the target body region, and the distal surface engages the target body region.
