    Abstract: A glucose-sensing device includes an insulative substrate, a metal oxide conductive layer, a transition metal nitride layer, and an insulative layer. The metal oxide conductive layer is formed on the upper surface of the insulative substrate and has a working electrode area and a terminal area. The transition metal nitride layer is locally formed to overlay the working electrode area of the metal oxide conductive layer. The insulative layer is locally formed on the metal oxide conductive layer to expose the transition metal nitride layer and the terminal area.
