Abstract: A panel assembly includes a trim panel and a finisher panel. The trim panel has a base portion, a support portion, and an accent portion. The accent portion is adjacent to the base portion and the support portion. The finisher panel is connected to the trim panel such that a first perimeter edge of the finisher panel is adjacent to the base portion of the audio panel, a second perimeter edge of the finisher panel is adjacent to the accent portion of the audio panel, and the support portion is concealed by the finisher panel.

Abstract: A first seal is installed on one of a first body structure and a second body structure. The first seal has a first sealing surface and a first sealing projection. A second seal is installed on the other of the first body structure and the second body structure, the second seal having a second sealing surface and a second sealing projection. The first and second sealing surfaces and the first and second sealing projections are positioned such that with the second body structure in a closed position and adjacent the first body structure, the second sealing surface contacts the first sealing surface to form a first sealing line between the first and second body structures, and the second sealing projection contacts the first sealing projection to form a second sealing line between the first and second body structures, with the second sealing line spaced apart from the first sealing line.

Abstract: A method for controlling a vehicle cabin heating system includes setting a target temperature for a vehicle cabin interior space. The method also includes measuring current temperature within the vehicle cabin interior space at a location spaced apart from a first infrared heater and spaced apart from a target surface within the vehicle cabin interior space, the first infrared heater being aimed to heat the target surface. A surface temperature of the target surface is estimated based the current temperature. The first infrared heater is controlled such that the heater is turned on in response to the estimated surface temperature of the target surface falling below the target temperature by a predetermined amount, and the heater is turned off in response to the estimated surface temperature rising above the target temperature by the predetermined amount.
