Patent number: 10496726Abstract: Methods for managing an interactive system, such as a web site, are disclosed. An interactive system can comprise a plurality of states, and a first structure of the interactive system can be defined by transitional links between those states. Session data can represent user navigation through the states, and a predetermined set of parameters for session data can be defined by the first structure of the interactive system. The method can include accessing a representation of the first structure of the interactive system, and analyzing the session data based on the predetermined set of parameters. A second structure for the interactive system can be determined when the first set of parameters are not met, such that as compared to the first structure, the second structure adds or removes a transitional link directly between the a first state of the interactive system and a second state of the interactive system.Type: GrantFiled: June 30, 2014Date of Patent: December 3, 2019Assignee: ClickFox, LLCInventors: Tal Cohen, Nissim Harel

Patent number: 7725840Abstract: An invention for customizing a web site by gathering information from a web site visitor's sessions while the user is using the web site. The visitor's session information is compared with expected visitor behavior, based on the present structure of the web site. Using pre-programmed basic comparison rules and computer based mathematical models, matrices are used to represent statistical information about the visitor's sessions on the web site. The statistical information is used to extract visitor behavior which was unexpected (anomalies). Anomalies are grouped into recommendations. These recommendations are used to automatically customize the web site. In the alternative, information is provided to the web site administrator to customize the web site to be more efficient and visitor friendly, maximizing the operation of the Web site and promoting more frequent visits.Type: GrantFiled: July 24, 2006Date of Patent: May 25, 2010Assignee: Clickfox LLCInventors: Tal Cohen, Nissim Harel

Patent number: 7673340Abstract: A system and method for monitoring and analyzing user activity of an interactive system, providing insight and recommendations to improve the interactive system based on the user activity. The present invention analyzes user behavior in the context of the structure of the interactive system as experienced by the user, the analysis of business-critical user tasks, the automated generation of recommendations for improving the interactive system, reports on the interactive system's application logic and data, unique visualizations of user behavior through the use of graphical displays, and secure report viewing and creation. The present invention can be applied to number of interactive systems or a combination thereof.Type: GrantFiled: June 2, 2005Date of Patent: March 2, 2010Assignee: Clickfox LLCInventors: Tal Cohen, Nissim Harel, Dean Jerding

Patent number: 7644134Abstract: A method of analysis of the performance of defined visitor tasks at a host's web site. Tasks are defined a sequence of web pages with which the host wishes the visitor to view or interact. The method allows a given task to be provided, compares the desired task to current visitor behavior to determine frequency, manner and completion of the task and analyzes the task-related information for anomalies and trends in the completion, or lack thereof, of the desired tasks.Type: GrantFiled: July 5, 2002Date of Patent: January 5, 2010Assignee: Clickfox, LLCInventors: Tal Cohen, Nissim Harel, Dean Jerding, Ami Feinstein

Patent number: 7305622Abstract: An invention for displaying patterns of utilization of a resource wherein the resource includes a plurality of correlated or uncorrelated objects. The method consists of providing a number of graphical formats from which a format is selected for display of patterns of utilization. Additionally, a query is submitted regarding a particular utilization of the resource. Along with the selected format and query inputs, the invention receives information regarding utilization of the resource from a system. Once the invention receives the inputs and the utilization information from the system, the invention processes the information to a format that conforms with the inputs. The invention then displays the processed information in the selected graphical format. The invention also allows the selection of a second graphical format from the graphical formats for altering the display to show the processed information in the second selected format.Type: GrantFiled: December 5, 2001Date of Patent: December 4, 2007Assignee: Clickfox, LLCInventors: Tal Cohen, Nissim Harel, Dean Frederick Jerding, David Dagon
