Abstract: Systems and methods herein are for one or more processing units that can communicate in a network using a subnet manager (SM) that includes a mapping of one virtual network address to two or more physical ports, where the one virtual network address may be associated with different switches of different data planes, and where data may be communicated concurrently and separately using the one virtual network address and using the two or more physical ports.

Abstract: A system includes a routing fabric and management circuitry. The routing fabric connects processing devices. The management circuitry determines an event associated with a first routing path included in the routing fabric. The management circuitry identifies a processing partition that is affected by the event based on a first local identifier. The first local identifier is associated with the first routing path and is assigned to the processing partition, and the processing partition is associated with one or more of the processing devices. The management circuitry routes one or more processes associated with the processing partition based on a second local identifier. The second local identifier is associated with a second routing path included in the routing path and is assigned to the processing partition. The one or more processes are routed using the second routing path.

Abstract: A system and method for massively multi-core computing are provided. A method for computer management includes determining if there is a need to allocate at least one first resource to a first plane. If there is a need to allocate at least one first resource, the at least one first resource is selected from a resource pool based on a set of rules and allocated to the first plane. If there is not a need to allocate at least one first resource, it is determined if there is a need to de-allocate at least one second resource from a second plane. If there is a need to de-allocate at least one second resource, the at least one second resource is de-allocated. The first plane includes a control plane and/or a data plane and the second plane includes the control plane and/or the data plane. The resources are unchanged if there is not a need to allocate at least one first resource and if there is not a need to de-allocate at least one second resource.

Abstract: A system and method for massively multi-core computing are provided. A method for computer management includes determining if there is a need to allocate at least one first resource to a first plane. If there is a need to allocate at least one first resource, the at least one first resource is selected from a resource pool based on a set of rules and allocated to the first plane. If there is not a need to allocate at least one first resource, it is determined if there is a need to de-allocate at least one second resource from a second plane. If there is a need to de-allocate at least one second resource, the at least one second resource is de-allocated. The first plane includes a control plane and/or a data plane and the second plane includes the control plane and/or the data plane. The resources are unchanged if there is not a need to allocate at least one first resource and if there is not a need to de-allocate at least one second resource.
