  • Publication number: 20220267994
Abstract: A work machine having a traveling body, a moveable structure coupled to the traveling body, a sensor operable to generate a sensory signal, and a controller. The controller is in communication with the sensor. The controller including a processor and a memory having a position control algorithm stored thereon. The processor is operable to execute the position control algorithm to receive a boundary command establishing a defined boundary; receive a sensory signal from the sensor related to the movement of the movable structure; determine a position of the movable structure relative to the traveling body; and limit movement of one of the ground-engaging mechanism of the traveling body or the actuator of the moveable structure as the traveling body moves along the travel path when the position of the movable structure is within an allowable distance from the defined boundary.

  • Patent number: 10329396
Abstract: An asymmetric immobilization process that immobilizes a one or more receptor biomolecules on one or more solid surfaces is provided. The asymmetric immobilization process includes the following steps: (i) activating the one or more solid surfaces using an oxidizing agent; (ii) treating the one or more solid surfaces with aminosilane to obtain a one or more amine functionalized solid surfaces; (iii) treating the one or more receptor biomolecules with a 1-Ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide (EDC) to obtain a one or more site-specific EDC activated receptor biomolecules; and (iv) immobilizing the one or more site-specific EDC activated receptor biomolecules on a first layer of the one or more amine functionalized solid surfaces, wherein the immobilizing comprises treating the one or more site-specific EDC activated receptor biomolecules with amine groups of the first layer of the one or more amine functionalized solid surfaces to form a covalent amide bond.

  • Publication number: 20190187138
Abstract: Various embodiments of the methods and systems disclosed herein provide a detection system that detects concentration of an analyte biomolecule (e.g., a protein, a biomarker, etc.) in a sample (e.g., a blood sample) to diagnose a disease. The detection system includes one or more micro-cantilevers that are immobilized with one or more receptor biomolecules to detect a concentration of an analyte biomolecule in the sample. The detection system further compares the concentration of the analyte biomolecule with a threshold value for diagnosing a disease.

  • Publication number: 20070246610
Abstract: A modular avionics system for an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) has a control module that executes flight control and vertical and lateral guidance algorithms to generate control commands. A data link module communicates with a remote control station and receives control commands from the remote control station. A data acquisition module communicates with the control module and the data link module. The data acquisition module is configured to receive and process data from one or more onboard sensors and to actuate a plurality of servo motors in response to control commands. A switching module selectively couples the data acquisition module to the control module or to the data link module responsive to an input from the remote control station to respectively switch between a fully autonomous mode of UAV operation and a manual mode of UAV operation. Power may be provided by a power module.
