  • Patent number: 11957899
Abstract: A system for placement of biocompatible electrodes in an opening formed in a patient's body part, such as DBS electrodes inserted into a patient's skull during surgical procedures in the brain. The system includes a coupled catheter and annulus. The catheter includes a guide tube having at least three cooperating guide elements configured to releasably fit together and collectively form a continuous lumen through the catheter that is dimensioned to receive an electrode therein. The annulus is configured to be placed in the opening formed in the patient's body part, and to receive the catheter therethrough. A track mechanism is used to operably couple the catheter to the annulus.

  • Publication number: 20240104394
Abstract: Provided are computing systems, methods, and platforms that automatically produce production-ready machine learning models and deployment pipelines from minimal input information such as a raw training dataset. In particular, one example computing system can import a training dataset associated with a user. The computing system can execute an origination machine learning pipeline to perform a model architecture search that selects and trains a machine learning model for the training dataset. Execution of the origination machine learning pipeline can also result in generation of a deployment machine learning pipeline configured to enable deployment of the machine learning model (e.g., running the machine learning model to produce inferences and/or optionally other tasks such as re-training and/or re-tuning the model).

  • Patent number: 10053391
Abstract: The present invention is directed at coatings for oven bake clay that when applied make the surface of the resulting object food safe. Among the many different possibilities contemplated, the coating may contain one or more food safe plastics that may be in particle form and may form suspensions or colloids when mixed with water, food safe oil or other food safe liquids to ease application. Among the many potential additional ingredients contemplated, the coating may contain one or more surfactants to improve the formation of a suspension or colloid or one or more food safe dyes so that the oven bake clay can be painted. Among the many methods of making the coating contemplated, the components may be mixed to form a suspension or colloid through one or more of agitation, stirring or sonication. It is further contemplated that the coating may be applied to an unbaked oven bake clay object and then baked or alternatively applied to a baked oven bake clay object and then re-baked.

  • Patent number: 8744146
Abstract: A method for curved planar reformation of an image includes receiving a data volume including a medial axis tree of a vessel tree, determining a global rotation axis of the medial axis tree, and casting a line segment from a vessel tree root of the medial axis tree into a predefined direction perpendicular to the global rotation axis. The method includes projecting the medial axis tree onto a reference plane along the line segment. The method further includes re-sampling, from at least one medial axis point of a reference plane, the data volume using a vector perpendicular to a medial axis tangent of the reference plane, wherein the vector defines a sampling direction. The method includes rendering an image of the vessel tree along the vector.

  • Patent number: 8583586
Abstract: Methods and systems for event pattern mining are shown that include representing longitudinal event data in a measurable geometric space as a temporal event matrix representation (TEMR) using spatial temporal shapes, wherein event data is organized into hierarchical categories of event type and performing temporal event pattern mining with a processor by locating visual event patterns among the spatial temporal shapes of said TEMR using a constraint sparse coding framework.
