Abstract: Systems and methods are directed to distributed systems that include networked electronic gaming machines. Before, after, or during play, a player may one or more credits or other value may be designated by a player at the electronic gaming machine. The one or more credits may be associated with and/or otherwise transferred to a tip ticket. The one or more credits may be associated with and/or otherwise transferred to an enhanced value ticket.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to a method for placing, selling or accepting bets on a system operated by a bookmaker. In one aspect, an already-placed bet may be sold to a first bettor or the bookmaker by a second bettor. In another aspect, one of the bettors may create a bet and offer it to another bettor or the bookmaker. In still another aspect, bet acceptances are stamped with information related to the location of the bettor, the time of acceptance, and the identity of the bettor.
