Patent number: 11992124Abstract: A range limiter to secure or position a adjustable height, foldable table at a particular height. A two-way spring-loaded plunger is positioned at the end of a leg for engagement with a stop component. The stop component is affixed to the bottom of the table top. When the leg is in a storage position, the plunger is pushed outward preventing the table leg from opening too far. The two springs have different forces or strengths associated with them. An extension section of the leg pushes against a heavy spring when the table is collapsed, thereby pushing the plunger outward. A light spring keeps the plunger withdrawn when the leg is extended.Type: GrantFiled: August 31, 2022Date of Patent: May 28, 2024Assignee: Evo Inventions LLCInventors: Christopher Lundin, Evan Einbender Aamodt, Michael A. Dotsey, Noah E. Dingler, Erin H. Morrissey, Jonathan N. Tackie

Patent number: 11759006Abstract: A modular desktop organizer and system including a rectangular base with a tall superstructure and shallow side trays. The superstructure includes a U-slot for holding an upright smartphone with an inductive charger, and a deep cup for holding pens, scissors, and accessories. The base includes a channel-shaped tablet holder at the back. The base is electrically powered and includes USB ports. The modular components have a self-centering bias by way of a bottom bulge with a rounded periphery that nests within the top of another modular component having a complementary rounded lip. The modular components can be stacked to two, three or more levels high in an aligned and neat fashion due to the self-centering bias.Type: GrantFiled: January 3, 2021Date of Patent: September 19, 2023Assignee: Amax Inc.Inventors: Holly O'Brien, Dennis Danville, Noah E. Dingler, Andrew J. Miller, Julia Wright

Publication number: 20230158825Abstract: Attachment systems, components, and methods are described herein that use a combination of attachment, anchor, or retention mechanisms to secure components to one another. By one approach, a combination of flap, swing clip, and notch features incorporated into one or more devices to provide the ability to attach or combine devices of multiple formats. In some configurations, the attachment systems include a device with at least one panel having a flap and a swing clip on a free edge thereof. The attachment systems also may include at least one attachable device having at least one panel with a notch formed on a free edge thereof. The attachable devices may be attached to each other in a configuration where the notch is aligned with the flap and the swing clip is in a closed position such that the notch and the flap are nested within the swing clip.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 19, 2021Publication date: May 25, 2023Inventors: Michael Rowe, Jeremy Mudd, Edward Busam, Noah E.
