    Abstract: A computer-implemented method may include emitting a presence audial tone at a point-of-sale device. The presence audial tone denotes a presence of the point-of-sale device. When the presence audial tone is received at a user device, the user device establishes a secure communications session with the point-of-sale device. The method may include receiving a confirmation audial tone through the secure communications session at the point-of-sale device. The confirmation audial tone encodes payment confirmation corresponding to a transaction. The method may include determining expected characteristics of the confirmation audial tone using an algorithmic library. The method may include comparing the confirmation audial tone against the expected characteristics to authenticate the transaction. The method may further include processing the authenticated transaction by demodulating the confirmation audial tone to obtain the payment confirmation. Related systems and computer-readable medium are described.

The application transmits a request to transfer a payment to the entity, wherein the request includes the information and a payment amount for the payment. When the request is received by a payment processing system, the payment processing system transfers the payment to the entity and provides a confirmation for the payment. The application broadcasts a confirmation audial tone that encodes the confirmation. When the confirmation audial tone is received at the device, the device demodulates the confirmation audial tone to provide the confirmation to the entity.

    Abstract: A framework is provided for an automated and distributed system including onboarding to a network utilizing a digital ledger, payment processing and settlement, and a data marketplace in which users control access to their data. The ledger is stored within a distributed architecture. The ledger includes blocks, wherein a complete copy of the ledger is stored on one or more nodes, and the ledger is capable of verifying the blocks. A credential request is provided that includes information that when received at a first node can be used to perform a credential lookup. A verified, issued credential is received when the credential lookup is successful. The framework allows for generating a zero knowledge proof using the verified, issued credential and for providing the zero knowledge proof. When the zero knowledge proof is received at a second node, the zero knowledge proof can be used to verify a criteria.
