  • Publication number: 20240292862
Abstract: An automated additive assembly for a micro-puree machine has a body including a reservoir configured for holding an additive ingredient. A channel is defined through the body, and a passage is in fluid communication with the reservoir and the channel. A plunger is configured for movement within the reservoir. Movement of the plunger within the reservoir in a first direction forces the additive ingredient through the channel such that the additive ingredient is combined with the processed ingredients extruded through the nozzle.

  • Publication number: 20240292861
Abstract: An extrusion assembly for a micro-puree machine uses a plunger coupled to the main driven shaft to push the processed ingredients out of a nozzle coupled to the bowl. The plunger includes a seal around its perimeter to ensure maximum contact with the walls of the bowl and thus allow for maximum extrusion yield. The extrude function is integrated into a program on the main user interface with a predetermined translation speed/flow rate.

  • Publication number: 20240292980
Abstract: A bowl assembly for a micro-puree machine includes a processing bowl that is open on both ends. One end of the bowl is capped with a processing lid and the other end of the bowl is capped with an extrusion lid. The processing lid includes a blade that is engageable with to a driven shaft of the machine for processing the ingredients. The processing lid is also couplable to a nozzle for dispensing the finished product during the extrusion process. The extrusion lid includes a plunger that is also engageable with the driven shaft for extruding the processed ingredients through the nozzle as it moves through the bowl.

  • Publication number: 20240164582
Abstract: A food processing device includes a base housing having an attachment receiver arranged to receive a food processing attachment that is configured to perform a food processing operation. The attachment receiver includes an electrical connector having a plurality of electrical contacts. The device includes a first processor having a plurality of ports where each port of the plurality of ports is in electrical communication with each of the plurality of electrical contacts. The first processor is configured to: i) receive an identification signal at a first port of the plurality of ports via the electrical connector from a second processor in the received food processing attachment to identify the received food processing attachment, and ii) when an identification signal is not received, monitor a voltage at each of the plurality of ports to identify the received food processing attachment.
